A very special place and our favourite holiday destination when we need a break so peaceful and relaxing and an amazing place to stay plus Cromarty has some really interesting history and is great base for exploring further afield. Fiona is the most welcoming host and will tell you everywhere round about to visit whichever direction you choose to go, she will be able to tell you other places to visit on the way. Highly recommend the breakfasts and especially booking dinner while you are there as the food is something else. Just back from our third visit and we will definitely be back for more!

The Factors House is a truly special place to stay and we had a wonderful time. Fiona has a fantastic eye for detail and has created a warm, comfortable and welcoming B&B which invites truly memorable stays. Our room was beautifully furnished and finished to a very high standard, as was our bathroom. Before dinner we enjoyed a drink from the honesty bar, a wonderful selection of gins and our dinner was superb. Fiona prepared a feast for us which was a perfect blend of relaxed dining with high quality food and exquisite presentation. Thank you for a magical stay, my husband and I had a truly wonderful time and only wished we could have stopped longer!

Probably the best hotel/B&B we have stayed in this trip. Beautifully placed and furnished. Fiona is a lovely and thoughtful hostess who thinks of so many things guests will find useful or will enjoy and served us a wonderful dinner and an equally filling breakfast, taking care of my coeliac needs. I would be amazed if anyone could find any fault with The Factors House. Noteworthy details: Fiona is a qualified chef who understands dietary needs.
