Paid membership fee to bid. It they never enabled my account. Two weeks later they see a negative review and told me that I should have contacted them. When I forwarded the email I sent to them previously (with screenshots stating my account wasnt activated) they said that my account was enabled. However since I left a 1* review THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO BID UNTIL I REMOVED THE 1* REVIEW. Seriously? Hell no I am not removing the truth. There are better auction houses than this with MUCH BETTER support for paying customers. Here is another 1* review for you. :)

I have been using The Grand Whisky Auction for several years now to buy whisky for my collection. I find the staff to be very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Whenever I have had questions or concerns, they have always been prompt in responding. My only suggestion is to consider extending the free storage time. I live outside of the UK and shipping is very expensive overseas. Sometimes we aren't lucky in a particular auction and it takes awhile to win enough bottles to warrant the shipping costs. That being said, I have written to ask for an extension a couple of times and they have been very accommodating. I will definitely continue to do business with them. Thank you for all that you do and for always making it a pleasant experience!
