        We recently stayed in Crief and visited this shop. Bought the rum truffles. They were so delicious . went back for more before we left. Best I've ever tasted Heading back up too crief tomorrow from Motherwell too buy more.

        Sadly I bought paprika that tasted awful and tempura batter mix that was many months out of date. Not very friendly as I tried to engage in conversation. Maybe affected by COVID but not good reason for poor stock and lack of welcome sadly. Sorry to say.

        My husband was in the shop.today Ridiculously overpriced and as for the owner avoid the grumpy sod like the plague.

        Employees were not the slightest bit friendly. Items were ridiculously overpriced. Bought two bags of after dinner mints and they tasted like mildew. Lemon curd also tasted old and not worth the 5 we paid. It's a shame since we have visited many times in the past and enjoyed what we purchased.
