I wanted to try Krav maga and I felt so great after the first session that myself and my family came back and are proud members of Cowdenbeath club. Mick is so welcoming and makes you feel like you can do anything by working on your mindset as well as training. Mick made Cowdenbeath club welcoming and fun but also serious and professional. Thanks to that, Cowdenbeath krav maga is nice little community where you are not encouraged to give your best just by the coach but also by fellow members!

I have been studying Krav Maga about five years now and, having studied martial arts previously, I can honestly say Krav is the most practical system out there. All techniques are based on real scenarios and, like real life, are ever changing to adapt The instructors are top class and the fitness element doesn't even make it feel like exercise. I work shifts but the variety of classes means I can fit at least two classes in each week. The skills you learn could potentially be lifesaving one day. Honestly could not reccomend the system any more.

Absolutely brilliant. Every instructor I've met with KMS is experienced, patient and they're all a good laugh too. Krav Maga is by far the most practical, useful self defence system for the sort of situations you're likely to encounter. Time isn't spent drilling kata or calling people sensei, it's spent learning efficient and practical means of defence. KMS in particular teach a style which evolves - if something works, it doesn't have to be textbook, and we often pick things apart to see how they do or don't work. Don't be put off by the system's reputation for being intense or the videos you see of people talking about KM like it's brutal. Come and try it instead. It's fun, you'll learn a lot and you'll have a great time!
