Really interesting place for a visit. I've tried to catch it at the right time on several occasions. Check the hours of opening before going. It is open two days but the Smith is only in the Sunday. We caught him in and it was well worth the time. He has a huge amount of knowledge on the place and the skills. He was happy to talk, we only just managed to get there ahead of closing (4pm). A must for anyone interested in traditional blacksmithing. The kids will by put to work on the bellows! Lovely little shop with arts and crafts gifts many from the forge itself.

Popped in for a visit, lovely little museum, keeping the traditional crafts alive. It's really only one room, the Smith itself, but full of tools, horseshoes, the history of the Smith and the village.
