Had a lovely week in Scotland and spent a whole day in the gardens. Nature is beautiful & it certainly shows it here. The red cedar trees are magnificent ! We didn't go into the outdoor centre & I'm not sure you can unless taking part in the activities. Do look for the golden gates whilst walking round the gardens, they were the entrance gates to the house. There are two paths you can take, one~for the hikers which takes you up & the other which is suitable for those who enjoy a stroll & children in buggies.Weather was shocking but the gardens are still worth seeing wet or dry. Small caf at the entrance & there's a shop full of gifts which is where you pay. The lady was very nice & helpful. Well worth the visit.
