Auchgoyle Farm

Auchgoyle farm was an ideal place for a family holiday. Warm, welcoming, spacious and with endless fields for the children to romp around, it was great to have a chance to sit back with a glass or two of wine and enjoy the peaceful surroundings as our boys explored the countryside. The children loved meeting the farm's various animals (the chickens were particularly popular!), and we spent a good deal of time on the local beaches, which are sandy with crystal clear water. We spotted guppies and flat fish, swam, paddle boarded, and even managed to go for a sail one afternoon. The house was beautifully clean, with lovely bedding and a fantastic, well kitted-out kitchen plus a separate boot/laundry room, which was very welcome. Katharine and David were warm and friendly, and were also very helpful with local information. Auchgoyle farm is a real gem; we feel very lucky to have spent time there and would love to return!

We had a wonderful week at Auchgoyle Farm! Love Katharine and Dave 's sustainable, environmentally conscious ethos: 'farming for wildlife' The boys loved collecting chicken eggs; gently holding the ducklings and running away from their crazy geese! The house was warm, cosy with stunning views. Fantastic location - great for cycling down to the idyllic beaches a couple of miles away.
