I cannot thank Lisa and the staff at the Whistlefield Inn for hosting such a fantastic beginners wild swimming event, I had the most amazing time. Lisa is so friendly and the day was joyous. The inn is located with beautiful panoramic views and nature at the heart of the place, it was magical to get to swim in Loch Eck and go back inside for a super tasty lunch thank you for a wonderful experience and I cant wait to come back again Apr 29th, 2023

We really enjoyed our visits to this very cosy bar and restaurant as we stayed on the lodge site next door. All the staff chatted to us, they gave our dog lots of treats! And they managed to squeeze us in for dinner after a very long drive up to the place we were staying. The food was amazing both times we visited, portions sizes were fantastic, the drinks were always refreshing and served with a smile and the setting is so warm and cosy and a proper Scotland feel we booked for dinner on our last night and we were served by a young guy (Im so sorry Ive forgotten your name!) who was very attentive, very polite, and very welcoming. The manager told us it was his first week working there and we couldnt believe it as he seemed to have worked there for ages with how attentive and settled in he was! Each time we sat down, we had a lovely view of the Loch from inside and when we sat outside. We will definitely have to return on our next trip to Scotland, even if were just passing by to explore more Lochs heres a photo of the dog to jog your memory of us as people remember dogs, not people haha, taken at Jubilee point just a stone throw away from the pub. And the other photo taken from the outdoor seating area, lovely views Apr 22nd, 2023

We had our wedding at the Whistlefield Inn - and I cannot recommend Lisa and her team enough. Lisa was brilliant from start to finish and I'm so pleased with how everything went. The location was stunning, the food was lovely and Lisa just made everything so easy and stress free. Thank you for a day we'll never forget.
The room we stayed in was lovely - large and very comfortable bed. The room had everything you could need and we felt very at home. Apr 18th, 2023
