A great lodge, no. 26, Argyle Retreat. Comfortable and cosy with everything you need.
Robbie the owner is great, always there for advice. Lots of birds visit if you take the time to top up the feeders.
Can recommend Pucks Glen, nearby for a walk. It felt like stepping in to Lord of the Rings. The road from Dunoon to Portavadie has wonderful views over Bute. Make sure you visit Inverary too.
We travelled over by ferry but are travelling back via the Loch Lomond route.
