Avoid this place at all costs people. I bought a car from these guys and it lasted 7 weeks before completing dying on me leaving me dangerously stranded on a motorway where I needed the police to come and keep me safe till AA arrived to help. My son is a mechanic and both him and the AA guy are pretty sure it appears that the turbo has blown causing the engine to fail. I called Lock Street motors first thing the next morning to tell them what had happened and to discuss the car being collected and repaired as I was sold a 3 month warranty with the car. The warranty states that it is for 'engine and gearbox' yet when I called I was told that I was responsible for the car . I was to take it to a garage to have it assessed and then call back whereby I'd be told whether Lock Street motors would 'contribute' to the cost of repair but only if the car was declared as a full top and bottom engine failure. After speaking to my local garage and citizens advice I was told all responsibility for the car and repairs etc are legally with Lock Street motors. I called them back but was shouted at over the phone and repeatedly called by the wrong name, not being given the chance to explain what I had been told, instead being told I was liable to pay the costs for the car recovery and assessment etc, and not to be stupid when I compared my ipad with warranty going to apple for repair, just like my car with warranty should go to Lock Street motors for repair !!! But beware as Lock Street motors are selling cars with warranties but they have NO warranty company !!! Trading standards are now involved after this company has left me without a car and without the money to buy a new one. I'm a disabled mum with 3 disabled children at home , one of whom has been left unable to get to school as I have no means of getting them there. Be very very wary when thinking about buying a vehicle from these guys as they are just happy to take your money, sell you shoddy worthless warranties and 3500 cars that last 7 weeks !!

Adam and his colleagues were really helpful when I bought my daughters first car from them this month. There was one small issue with it, but they sorted that out straight away. Great customer service..
