How embarrassing as a business that there not allowed to give you a 1 coin for a trolley to shop in THERE store if u only have silver change. My disabled mother realised she did not have a 1 pound coin to get a trolley for her shopping. So i took her change of 50p, 10p & 2 x 20ps into shop and asked to exchange her silver for a 1 coin so we can get one of THERE trolleys to come in and spend money in THERE SHOP. And the blunt response from the stern character on the till with zero customer service skills was "We're not allowed to give change" What?? To use one of your trolleys to spend money in your shop and pay your wages lol. Unbelievable. The same thing happened at Poundland few months back. What a red neck. You think they would be happy of the custom never mind refusing cash business for the sake of taking 1 silver and giving you a 1 coin. Ridiculous honestly. Never be back near any Iceland again. Better just going to Asda. No awkward staff and no coin req for trolleys.
