Moved into my new home last week and can honestly say the service I have received from Dundas has been amazing. Gail sold me my house last year and talked me through every step keeping me updated on a weekly basis. She was then moved onto a new site and her colleague Linda took over and offered the same amazing service. I moved into my house last week and I absolutely love it! I would recommend buying from Dundas and thanks so much to Linda and Gail for making this such a great experience! 5 star service!!!!

The houses are well designed from an architectural standpoint and have modern layouts. The landscaping/aesthetic of the streets has more character than most modern new build estates. If you're considering purchasing a home in this estate however, do so in knowing that the finish and Quality is, in many regards, appalling when compared to Dundas' competitors. This is tolerable if there is a willingness to fix/resolve the defects, but the reality on this development is you will either 1) Give up chasing the site and customer care team over and over again and live with the issues to save yourself from further lies and mental anguish or 2) Pay for the issues to be fixed yourself. There are families on this estate still waiting for repairs to be carried out from their "day one" snagging list 18-24 months after they moved in. Major plumbing issues (bad leaks, dysfunctional heating etc), poor workmanship (doors not closing/locking, dysfunctional windows, poor joinery), and abysmal paint/decorating finish are not uncommon at all on this development. Every single person you speak to seems to have a handful of near-comical examples of major defects within their home. Again, this wouldn't be as big an issue if Dundas were willing to resolve these issues in a timely manner, or at all in many cases. Be prepared to be lied to and misled regarding snagging repairs. Get used to hearing "we'll send someone down to fix it" just to be disappointed when no one turns up. Take the positive reviews with a pinch of salt. The sales office (who are lovely throughout the sales process to be fair) put pressure on every customer to post a positive review before they have even had a chance to inspect their home properly and gauge the site's response to snagging. My advice would be if you like the location, modern home design and the development's friendly "family" vibe then reserve a home. You won't regret it but only if you're willing to set your expectation extremely low with regard to quality, workmanship and Dundas' willingness to rectify the hundreds of defects you will inevitably find within your home. Do not take comfort in the fact that Dundas are affiliated with NHBC either. In many respects these homes do not comply to the NHBC standard.
