Lovely farm shop good produce and not to expensive

Brilliant as always great people who work in it I know quite a few always smiling and loads to offer fresh produce I've been going for few years now and jus away from it again always be back at it

The shop looked big from the road but wasnt as large as expected once inside. I feel the shop could be better laid out. For example I wasnt sure why there was a separate bit in the middle of the floor with a few steaks on it when there was a section in the chiller for steaks. It would be good if there was more local produce in the store. There seemed to be quite a few branded products in it which one can buy in mainstream shops and supermarkets, and I couldnt imagine buying that type of thing here. Some of the fruit and veg did not look like it could be a locally seasonal product. Also, most of the stuff is more expensive than in the shops. Weve yet to try any of the produce purchased but were a bit surprised at the price. Lastly , the checkout experience is not amazing. Our eggs came flying open due to the way they were handled at the checkout and one egg broke. I didnt bother explaining and they never noticed, but for the higher prices a bit more care and attention to the products would be great. On the positive side the staff we encountered were all very friendly and positive. I dont think we will be returning any time soon but it was interesting to try it out and the local produce we did pick up does look nice.
