We only did the blue and orange trails. The car park is ok size. You can walk down the main road to start the walk or walk across the road and go down the footpath. The footpaths are fairly wide and easy to walk on. There is lots of information board placed at certain points along the blue trail. There are boulders with writing on them so it keeps you and kids entertained as you walk round. There is only one building left standing. The wilsontown inn. It has an information plaque that gives you a bit of detail about it. There is a building beside it but doesn't have anything to say what it was used for or if it was part of the inn. The orange trail is a bit boring. There is lots of trees that have been cut down and it just feels a bit empty except for the stumps. There was also a issue with trying to cross over water to get to the next bit of the trail. The views are really impressive and as you walk round you get a idea of how big the ironworks would have been. The biggest problem was the amount of dog dirt not just on the grass but the paths as well so watch your feet.
