What a great find. Travelling from Cairnryan to Biggar and found serious lack of roadside eatery's. Starting to fade and then found this gem. Great welcome. Great food and a lovely open fire

Dropped into this wonderful little pub in the quaint village of CrawfordJohn for lunch and it was fantastic. It was a chilly day but once inside the open fire was a warming sight. Aunty Janettes beef pie was without doubt best Ive ever had. The owners were very friendly and engaging and gave us some useful local knowledge as we were visiting from Australia. Highly recommend this very original and charming Pub with home made meals and great ale. Its tucked away but well worth taking the effort to visit, you wont be disappointed.
