Lovely accommodation, staff checked in on me hourly, had a bit of trouble opening the door after 10 pm, the cameras in the shared showers were quite unsettling, a lot of screaming coming from wing c of the place was also unsettling

Absolutely disgraceful! People being held here who have nothing more than Autism! Its like someone locking away your dad because he has cancer! This is a hospital for the criminally insane and yet there are people here who have never committed a single crime! Their crime is that they are unwell! Theyve hurt nobody and stolen nothing! Absolutely Disgraceful! You have Nicola sturgeon prancing around shouting about independence when she cant even get her own house in order ! The woman is a disgrace!

I would just like to say after reading The State Hospital response to the last 2 reviews. The information you have posted with regard to my own son is factually incorrect. Far from it. My son had a diagnosis of autism, learning disability and adhd when entering The State Hospital, after being given a wrong diagnosis in the community. He was sent there because there was no beds elsewhere and he had no charges on him. He was treated badly by staff that I complained about, and this was ignored. Complaints not upheld, and then incident happened that led to them being sacked. My son entered on a CTO and TSH pushed for charges on my son.
