Not impressed with the place at all, my mother is living here and although the staff seem to be doing their best working for a company that clearly is just in it for profit the overall standards of the place are not excused. Outside it looks incredibly shabby, fair enough we've had a hard 12 months but a coat of paint on the front canopy and a tidy up of the grounds would be a good start, also don't let staff have smoke breaks at the front door. While you're at the front door can someone please secure the doorbell, sick of seeing it flapping about on it's wire waiting to fall off. The rooms are small being an ex hotel but that doesn't forgive bad cleanliness or poor maintenance, see the photo's & video attached to this review. **Video might not play as sometimes Google block video's** The place needs a complete freshen up, a TV in the atrium showing classic movies would be a nice touch. I'll be looking to move my mother to better accommodations as soon as possible as the standards here are just not good enough for end of life dignity.

I feel very sorry for any inmate, this care home has terrible reviews from the CARE INSPECTORATE, adequate is not good, read them for yourselves. If no stars were possible my review would have been more accurate. Sharon, you did not impress. Just horrible. Also worth knowing, when your relative ends up in hospital due to dehydration or for any reason the home charges you for the room all the time your relative is in hospital. Social work are not your friends.

Just want to thank all the staff at CCCH, keeping mum safe and well cared for through this unprecedented year, their dedication has been so appreciated they have gone the extra mile and beyond. Thank you all so much Sharon
