This is not only one of the best courses in the west of Scotland designed by James Braid but still maintains its Municipal Golf status which has to be admired allowing everyone to enjoy golf at affordable price I not only congratulate the ground staff at this course for maintaining excellent standards but also acknowledge the very welcoming approach to visitors taken by the starter in office and in my book this sets this course above many others with a less welcoming approach The West Dumbarton Council should be pleased to know that this facility is a jewel in their crown and should maybe be more talked up and advertised as a venue for those golfers visiting Glasgow Lets put Dalmuir Golf Course on the map and even think of crowd funding a new club house with facilities similar to that at Belleisle Ayrshire. A copy of the Belleisle facility would certainly be an attraction for West Dumbartonshire area in fact an investment which would attract more investment which can only be a good thing

Great course well looked after holes 13,14,15 are demanding to say the least. Great value for money.
