Absolute shocking, was on hold for my mum who is 82 and is in pain just to be told there are too many people on the calls and then they hung up on me. There should be enough staff to cover these calls or they should employ more. What about an emergency do you just wait for the call to be available even if its an emergency, I agree with the girl on the other review about Covid-19 they are just using this as an excuse. Absolutely shocking.

You sit for over an hour, not an exaggeration can screenshot my calls. Although not bad today was only 45 minutes. Constant messages about the practice not meeting needs of patients. When you do get through staff are unprofessional, will dispute things with you and do not have a full understanding of patient needs. It is concerning the disrespect and dismissal of reception staff. I have private healtcare but unfortunately to my dismay not everything is covered. I have been to every avenue to avoid the NHS GP but everyone says I need to speak to a GP. I understand practices and staffing is stretched but I do not appreciate the condescending unprofessional tone and responses by staff. It is particularly difficult as a professional myself to be spoken to with such disregard considering I do everything possible to avoid the NHS. Unfortunately I am struggling to find a practice that will take me as a new patient coming from Clydebank. This practice comes up when I put my postcode into the NHS website and that I think is an issue why I cannot change.

I am sorry that I changed to Clydebank Health centre. I have been unable to get someone on the phone for over 2 weeks. Most days a message is sent to my phone to say they have reached capacity and have no appointments.

Absolutely Shocking Service .. Currently 8th In The Queue And Have Been For The Last 35 Minutes .. This Is Actually Normal ! .. No Matter What Time Of The Day You Call You Always Wait A Considerable Amount Of Time. Very Very Unprofessional Way To Treat Patients !!!

Its tough getting through on the phone BUT its a massive practice with thousands of patients . The GPS are fantastic and highly experienced I dont get the complaints , IF you need to see a GP thats what Triage is for (to decide that ) The nurse /gp then calls ,its a detailed consultation and if they feel they need to see you you get an appointment? Saving YOU an unnecessary trek to surgery ? Dont have to go often but when i MUST see a GP have always been given an appointment and felt well supported by the GPS /nurses too . Just Dont get why people are hating on the staff or believing they are sat ignoring phones?Come on ! Dont hate on staff when its clearly an out of date phone system and also apparent they are short staffed with GPS too !. Get onto the Health Board and complain to them about lack of staffing and an obvious lack of funding .
