The shop appeared well stocked and clean and the staff were welcoming however, my wife was refused entry with her assistance dog to which she left upset and humiliated on our first night on holiday. The Equality Act 2010 states that this is unlawful and reasonable adjustments 'must' be made to accommodate assistance dogs to aid the owner in day to day activities. Being left humiliated and degraded is also disability harassment. I recommend the manager updates staff on the information found in the downloadable business guide found on the Assistance Dogs UK website.
