after a very long hike, i stumbled into castle douglas hoping for some chips - maybe a few onion rings if lucky ! as a vegan on holiday in the borders i went in not expecting much - but Nikos was more than what i could have wished for. the food was on par with some of the nicest vegan food ive had in edinburgh (where i live), and the staff were some of the friendliest ive met in ages. i cannot recommend Nikos enough - if i could give more than 5 stars i would
