        The owners and staff are outstanding! The food is also some of the best I've ever eaten Food & drinks: Really amazing value for the perfect food, and a stocked bar full of anything you could want

        A beautiful old building full of character. Our room was clean and spacious with a wonderful free standing bath, huge bed and additional dressing room. There were a few minor issues e.g., wobbly tables at dinner, the dressing room having poor lighting to apply make up at the dressing table. Also the whole suite could have been warmer on arrival. However the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They ironed out any problems quickly, plus took the time to talk to us and made us feel welcome. The owner Shashank was particularly friendly and personable. The strengths of this hotel are its character and hospitable staff. If you want poshness and perfection this hotel is not for you. If you prefer informality, relaxed atmosphere and friendliness, then book now. If we are in the area again, we will definitely return. Brian & Helen
