The cottage is on a busy road and the traffic can be heard in the bedrooms, but the noise never troubled us and did not effect our sleep.
The garden is enclosed so children cannot just run out onto the road, however it didn't take long for the two year old to work out how to open the gate, i had to find a way to tie it shut.
We noticed a damp smell in the sleeping areas, not sure if it was just the wet towels but there was a lot of condensation on the windows so it could do with more ventilation.
