        Went for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime but the Diner was closed, it is supposed to be open on Saturdays. Similar situation a few weeks back when I organised a visit with a group of my friends during the hours it was advertised to be open but again it was all closed up. We had to go elsewhere for lunch. Will not go back to the Diner a third time as it is never open when it is meant to be, annoying.

        A wee bit out of the way for sone visitors but certainly worth visiting. The owners are most welcoming and provide an excellent service. Lovely breakfast and a superb cup of tea. Our dog was made more welcome than we were with his own sausage and a bowl of milky tea, just how he likes it. We will be back soon.

        My son was in recently and collected us both some food but it was not good at all. Definitely won't be back, will go elsewhere next time in Carnoustie.
