Booked a cab from our site to Fort William by email. Quick response and really nice to deal with. Sadly we had to cancel, but this is how to run a cab firm!

Despite our train service being disrupted and arriving on a replacement bus, the owner of Greyhound Taxis, George, was waiting for us when we pulled into Fort William (FW) station. I had emailed George in February to ask if he might be able to provide us with a taxi from FW station, to our hotel in town, wait for us while we checked in, and then take us to either Steall Falls and/or the Nevis Centre gondolas, for a cable car ride in the mountains. George did not disappoint. I don't think we could possibly have had a better start to our short tour of the Great Glen. Craftily dodging the rain, George took us to Steall Lower Falls, the Nevis Range gondolas, the Caledonian Canal and Neptune's Staircase, the Commando's Monument and Glencoe. Not only were we transported safely in George's luxurious 4x4 SUV, we were also treated to a running commentary on the issues surrounding the places we visited. Turns out George holds two degrees in Scottish History and, as if that weren't sufficient, an encyclopedic knowledge of how, when and where various sets were constructed and employed in a wide range of movies and TV programs. As we sat eating our dinner that evening, in an establishment George had recommended, we agreed that it had been as if we had been met at the station by a close relative, who lived in FW and wanted to ensure we got a taste of everything the town and its environs had to offer. It was less than a week ago that George met us at FW station and barely 48 hours, since we arrived back in the southeast, yet I have already had the opportunity to recommend Greyhound Taxis. It was a whole-hearted recommendation, made without reservation. Whether you're looking for a dependable taxi service or an informative tour of key attractions in the highlands, Greyhound Taxis provides an outstanding service at a very reasonable price. Book early to avoid dissappointment! Service: Private tours

Tried to book a taxi and was rudely accused of calling before and that I had being informed that there wasnt any taxis available. I havent spoken to this company before and when I explained this I had the phone put down on me! Unfortunately I am unable to reply to his response which is untrue. Please check the phone numbers as you must be referring to someone else I called once only asked for a taxi the next day you replied with "I've told you twice we are booked" to which I said "I haven't called before" to which you put the phone down... Poor customer service at best would recommend using another company within this area.
