Beautiful, minimalistic holiday cottage! Surrounded by scenic mountains, architectural beauty - usage of wood and full height glass wall/doors, beautiful interiors makes this cottage a pleasure to live at. Fully equipped modern kitchen, spacious living area, bedrooms, sleek bathrooms. Spotlessly clean keeping cleanliness at forefront during current pandemic. Surrounding area has plenty of interesting places, beaches, walking trails to visit incl. Glenfinnan visitor centre at short walk. Plus, there are regular friendly visits from neighbouring chickens and turkeys. Highly recommended for relaxing holidays!

We stayed in February. This is a lovely modern, well-equipped holiday home in a peaceful location just outside Glenfinnan. The fit and finish is first-class. The owners have installed a super set of kitchen and washer/dryer appliances (thank you for the quiet dishwasher with the open-plan layout!). The Samsung Frame Series TV with connectivity options and free streaming services is excellent for 'movie nights' at River Fae. Beds are comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean. Rural Retreats, the owner and the housekeeper responded promptly to our needs. We had a lovely time and would return in a heartbeat.
