Spent an idyllic week at Lochside enjoying the beautiful holiday cottage and the fantastic scenery. The house itself is superbly well-equipped with everything that you could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The setting couldn't be more perfect with stunning views from the house, the decking area and the hot tub. Being able to walk 2 minutes up the path to eat at The Lookout restaurant was amazing as the food is superb. Many thanks for a wonderful relaxing week.

Perfect setting with great deck and hot tub on the side of the Loch, amazing views and lovely spot to relax and unwind. Cottage itself is beautiful, finished to a high standard with lovely decor and Scottish theme. Large dining kitchen with patio doors, fully equipped with everything you could need from cooking a full meal to baking. Cosy sitting room, great bedrooms, bathrooms.... great showers and best of all underfloor heating! Cara is so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much bother.( Cara collects your bags at ferry) Make sure to eat at The Lookout, delicious hearty breakfasts and evening meals all made fresh with local produce, we ate there every day and even had very tasty packed lunch made one day. All in all a great family holiday- highly recommended.

My daughter and I were privileged to spend a couple of nights here. It is a lovely house with all mod cons. Sitting in the hottub at the end of March with a stunning view across the loch, can't be beaten. Breakfast is huge and very tasty, we didn't need any lunch. Cara is a wonderful host. The first night the pub was shut so Cara had arranged for us to eat in Airor and transport both ways. A great meal (fish and chips, fresh and crispy, best I've ever had) and a slice of Vanessa 's homemade cake. Atmosphere, humour and craic, a wonderful evening. I would recommend Lochside self-catering accommodation and also the Gathering B&B which is due to open a cafe/restaurant in May. Knoydart is a stunningly beautiful place off the beaten track. I can't think of a better place to cut yourself off from the Internet, etc. Thank you Cara
