The Electric Bothy! The location of the Bothy is awesome. Beautiful views all around. It's a shame since I've been that the fire place at one end hasn't been sorted, it was leaking in and boarded up and looking at other people's photos since I've been it's still sadly not changed. One of the coldest nights I've spent in a bothy, the fire that "was working" didn't give off much heat even after being stoked and cleared out. But for what it is, an emergency shelter in times of need, it's a good one.

This place was an absolute life saver, great idea and so well kept. If if wasn't for this place our trip would have been written off, there's a prep area, a open fire the dry your boots and a place to sleep. I mean it when I say the expression of a life savers hut. The weather/rain that Scotland had in November was nothing I've never seen before and been out in it was a challenge in its self our hike was to the old forge and the rain fall was that bad we had to turn back the river was over waist deep. Always check point these huts if your hiking!
