Camusdarach Beach Car Park

Perfect place to stop, short walk to camusdarroch beach. Beautiful clean sand, clear (freezing cold) water and a view out to the small isles.

Beautiful hidden gem just a 10 minutes from mallaig harbour. Closer to Back of Keppoch-7 minutes. The place is relatively less crowded and the beach feels like tropical beaches on a sunny day, white sand beach but parking lot is a bit cramped for more than 15 cars. There are no toilet facilities but it is pristine blue when the weather is good. The walk from car park to beach is about 3/4 minutes amidst sand dunes, please dont forget to bring your sand castle equipment and beach ball! No parking fee applicable. Kid and pet friendly!

(Translated by Google) Parking lot was free but isn't huge. If you're lucky, you can park a 7m long caravan. The path to the beach is narrow. We just made it there with handcarts, just fit through. But I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, because then there is quite a long way in the sand. (Original) Parkplatz war kostenlos, aber ist nicht riesig. Mit viel Glck kann man geradeso auch mit einem 7m langen Wohnwagen parken. Der Weg zum Strand ist schmal. Wir haben es gerade so mit Bollerwagen hingeschafft, passte geradeso durch. Wrde ich aber nicht unbedingt empfehlen, weil dann doch ein recht langer Weg im Sand folgt.

Very small car park and a bit of a walk through the dunes. But the beach is outstanding and well worth the walk
