Knoydart House Luxury Accommodation

Studio House is a lovely place to stay, with a very comfortable bed and beautiful views. Knoydart itself is a great destination, whether you want to relax or climb a munro away from the crowds. Once the Old Forge reopens, it will be even better, though in the meantime I can recommend the Tearooms for a warm welcome and a nice lunch and the local brewery for a great bottle of beer.

Ian and Jackie are the most gracious hosts; we felt part of their family and community over a wonderful new year stay. Words cannot describe how beautiful Knoydart is but the accommodation and attention to detail means that you just feel like you have fell upon an absolute gem of a place. The community is so welcoming and you really feel part of real life whilst at the same time feeling that you are having the most restful break! I can not recommend this place highly enough!

What an amazing place. Jackie and Ian have thought of absolutely everything you could possibly need. As other reviewers have mentioned the hot tub is fantastic with a view to die for, dont miss the seafood platter, it is unbelievable, the pub is great fun, local restaurants are good, the nature and walks are beautiful and we even saw dolphins on the ferry. What more can you ask for ? Yes it is a long trip but it is so worth it. We feel privileged to have visited and will return one day for sure. Idyllic, peaceful and stunning. There really arent enough superlatives to describe our wonderfully relaxing mini break. Ian was there to meet us off the first ferry of the day, happy to store our luggage until the studio was ready. Both Ian and Jackie are very friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home. The studio was immaculate, extremely well stocked and had absolutely everything we needed and more! We loved the toiletries in the shower room and stopped off at Fort William on our way home to buy some of our own. The bedding was luxurious and what a comfortable mattress; we both slept better than we have done in years! Inverie itself was full of charm and everybody was very friendly. The hot tub with its spectacular view, provided a lovely end to each day, after walks taking in the magnificent scenery. A special thank you to Ian for our unexpected, fun and extremely informative tour. We have already made enquiries to book dates for next year and will take our mountain bikes, to explore a little more! Well done to both Ian and Jackie for creating such a heavenly haven and for being perfect hosts: discreet, but there should you need them.
