Our Family had a week in Loch Morar. Really top class cabin and immaculately presented. We have already booked for Two weeks next year, lucky we booked now as we were very lucky to get our dates required. Highly recommend Reubens Highland Retreat. You will not be dissapointed.

Good bnb, quite a last minute booking made, has all basic amenities like car parking for two large card per bnb cottage. The kitchen has a microwave and basic kitchen utensils like wok and pans, cups plates, saucers, spoons forks ladles knives, skewers, cling film etc dishwasher soap and basic cleaning stuff, only thing missing was a tea sieve ( we got loose leaf teas but not a biggie) the toilet had two loo rolls- bit short for bnb which sleeps 5 for 3 days. The rooms were decent size and smaller room had a single and a bunk bed. Cleaniless level 10/10. Best part was the entire bnb was harry potter themed which is gave a magical effect to our stay! Loved the bird hotel which showed how inclusive it was in terms of supporting biodiversity. Check in time 5pm and check out was 11am which was perfect for us. However it would be good to have some basic stuffs like small milk and sugar or complimentary tea/coffee, toileteries were missing except handwash. The loaction is not far from the mallaig harbour and every tourist location like the beach and the harboyr was around 10mins or under. Overall a very happy stay. At night there are security lights outside and well built main gate. It is kid and dog friemdly for sure ( not sure about other pets). The drawing room has a bush tv with hdmi facilities so can stick your firestick in and enjoy netflix with family. Good assortment of dvds and games to keep kids engaged.
