Had two visits to Woodburn in the recent past, both times I have been treated well with good chat and information from the baillif . Conditions were challenging but the fish that were caught did not disappoint, strong trout and we'll conditioned. Would recommend to anyone looking for some good sport, peace and lots of fresh air. Thanks

After considering reserving a few lodges for my extended family's visit, I took a tour of the area in advance. Unfortunately, the owner was discourteous and declared the premises as "private property," despite the right to roam in Scotland. The site seemed untidy with piles of litter and old caravans in multiple places. It was a letdown, but I'm relieved that I checked it out before booking. I suggest exploring other options, don't waste your money here.
