Gowanlea Heights Bed and Breakfast

From the moment we arrived We were greeted by John and David and shown around. Gowanlea is immaculately presented very well appointed bedrooms and a superb guest lounge supplied with tea coffee snacks fruit bowl for the guests usage and included in the price. The attention to detail at Gowanlea is staggering and I would rate it 10 out of 10 would go back any time and I thoroughly recommend it.

Unfortunately, we only stayed one night at this lovely B&B. It was even better than we expected. John gave us a lovely welcome and was the perfect host. The Victorian building is beautiful with high ceilings and cornicing but has been updated in a modern and sophisticated way with tasteful decor throughout. We had exclusive access to the whole ground floor area where there is a beautiful bathroom with shower, freestanding bathtub and a selection of toiletries. The large bedroom has everything you may need and more, including bathrobes, snacks, hair tongs, drinks and snacks. There is also a separate lounge/dining area with TV, fireplace, books, games, microwave, fridge and plenty of snacks and drinks. Seating/picnic area outside. Great choice for breakfast and cooked to perfection! The B&B is only a minute away from the town centre. Take a visit to Machrihanish and Westport beaches while you are there. Excellent value for money and the hosts have cared for every detail of the service they provide. Would return and highly recommend

We'd love to come back! (Original) Besser gehts wirklich nicht! Definitiv die beste Unterkunft, die ich im Laufe der Jahre in Campbeltown besucht habe. Ausgezeichneter Service, ausgezeichnetes Frhstck, ausgezeichnete Zimmer! Und wenn man tagsber noch etwas Freizeit hat, ldt der Gemeinschaftsraum zum Verweilen ein. Bcher, ein schnes Feuer und dazu noch kostenlose Getrnke und Kekse, Chips und Msliriegel. Einfach fantastisch! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Walkability: Zu Fu sind Springbank, Cadenhead und einige gute Restaurants erreichbar. Top Lage.
