Andrew took us on a 12 day odyssey through the Highlands, Skye, and up to Orkney. It was magical - each day with new adventures! He knew the out of the way places that big buses cant navigate. He always knew the best places to eat at every turn. I was so pleased with the experience I am already working on my next trip with him in the Spring! I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to see and experience the real Scotland!

My husband and I just returned from a private 6 day tour of Scotland with Andy. This was the best decision we could have made. Since we had never been to Scotland before, we let Andy plan our 6 day tour after giving him our interests. Our tour exceeded our expectations. Andy knows so much about Scotland's history and culture. We traveled from Edinburgh up into the Highlands, Isle of Skye, Loch Ness, Inverness, Culloden, Pitlochry and back to Edinburgh. All the while traveling Andy gave us itinerary options and told us the story of Scotland so that we understood her complex history. Andy did this with his wonderful sense of humor and knowledge from his studies.He balanced serious stops with fun activities such as whiskey tastings, chocolatier stops and feeding the beloved Hairy Coos. You would be fortunate to have Andy as your guide. He made Scotland better than we could have imagined.

We were a group of four ladies who truly enjoyed our 12 day tour of Scotland with Andy. Each of us had different ideas of what we wanted to experience, and Andy managed to do just about everything we had on our list. He was very gracious, enjoyable, fun, personable, accommodating, punctual and organized. We hiked through stunningly beautiful scenery, visited modern and ancient sites, toured castles, enjoyed beautiful gardens, visited Outlander settings, learned about Scottish history, culture, and much more. Because of Andy, it was truly a wonderful trip.

Andy is simply the best of the best when it comes to a personal tour guide of Scotland. My wife and I spent a full day with him as he drove us from Oban to Inverness and we weaved back and forth and made our way north. Andy could not have been nicer nor more prepared to provide us with exactly what we hoped for - a taste of that beautiful country Scotland. We were sorry to see him drive away after he dropped us off at the hotel. Brent McPhie Holladay Utah USA
