Fay was the sort of person you always hope to meet in your travels. Open, friendly, down to earth, funny, honest. Her laundry is tiny and crowded and it seemed like half the town stopped by to gossip during our short stay. In between we heard bits about local history and had a fun time comparing our local council and hers.
Fay should be (and probably is) treasured by her community. If you're in Callendar for a day or two and your suitcase is beginning to smell odd, I highly recommend investing an hour or two in meeting Fay. She is a lovely woman.
