I visited Callander on a Lochs and Glen's trip last week. I was absolutely appalled to see that someone, for no real reason at all, had given this shop a very bad review. Reading the review it would seem to me that the hospice staff, who are volunteers, had done nothing wrong, but the reviewer had decided to take offence and be extremely rude and unhelpful to an exceptionally worthy cause. I will do everything i can to rectify this. Please be nice and think before you post reviews! This is for a hospice with volunteers serving you!

I've never been here but having seen a very petty previous review, I can't leave a CHARITY HOSPICE with a one star review. What a joke. I don't have a dog, but I will ensure it's toilet trained should I ever bring it up to Callander. Yes, other reviewer, it is a shame that your money is being spent elsewhere, though I would imagine you're doing a kindness to the poor staff here if your behaviour and tone is anything to go by. Have a fabulous day, spread love, not bitterness :)

When in Callander, I usually always pop in to this branch and always found the staff to be very welcoming, today however not so. I have a very well behaved dog who is always welcomed into the store but being a respectful owner I always ask is it okay to bring him in and it's never been a problem. Today I done the same thing to receive a comment from an elderly woman who was behind the counter " as long as it's house trained " she had a gentleman colleague standing beside her who tried to laugh off her comment that she was just joking. Well to be honest I didn't find it funny in fact I found it absolutely insulting and appallingly rude. I never said anything to her and the 40 packs of Strathcarron christmas cards I usually buy every year was not purchased from Callander branch as was my intention. I just turned heel and left. So sad when these places depend on every penny spent to go to their great cause.
