Had a wee visit to callander and had to go to my favourate shop , Karen was so helpful with everything and we had a lovely chat, cant wait for next time

First time visiting Callander with its many lovely shops. Went into Proposals and saw a beautiful scarf and went to check out to purchase but the cashier made me stand for 5 minutes, never acknowledged me as she was too busy on a personal phone call, gave her another 5 minutes but was still ignored. Very disappointed and walked out shop empty handed.

Proposals in Callander is a great shop for gifts and staff are very helpfull thumbs up all round

Very positive experience, with the shop owner very patiently advising on items on display. Got great recommendations on matching colours for an elegant outfit as a bonus - thanks Karen!

Myself daughter and friend visiting from England went in few days ago I was wearing a lanyard because I cannot wear a face covering,I work for nhs and have done for 31 yrs so I am well aware off the rules and restrictions re : Covid-19 and my employers respect that,I was approached by the owner and asked to put on a mask,I pointed to my badge,her response was a sneer and comment yea suppose you got that from eBay,I immediately left the shop,my daughter and friend came out looking for me after a few minutes later I mentioned what was said they were horrified.how dare that woman make judgments on any individual who does she think she is !!!! my daughter was about to buy two bags and my friend had seen a lot of things to take home for familywe calculated between us we would have spent around 200they refused to go back in,we were happy to support a small business during this difficult timewill never go back and incidentally had same experience about 6 yrs ago when I asked if a purse was real leather I got a tongue lashingI should have learned from that.
