Greg came to our house to chat about a job, took measurements, and enthusiastically agreed to said job, and promptly informed us of his available dates 3 months down the line. Fantastic, we foolishly thought, and requested a more detailed quote for the work. Time went by and we still hadnt received our quote. We politely asked him again, received an apology and explanation that hed been very busy but would get it to us that week. 2 weeks later we asked again, and received exactly the same response. When it happened the third time, we very politely said that he shouldnt worry if he was no longer going to be able to complete the job, we understood how busy tradesmen could be etc, and if that was the case we would rather just know so that we could organise something else, with no hard feelings, but that if he still planned to complete the job, now 4 weeks away, we kind of needed to know how much it would cost. When it got to 2 weeks til the agreed upon dates (which Greg had spent the previous 10 weeks emphatically reassuring us he would be there), he ghosted us. No replies, no answers. The date for the job arrived, but Greg didnt. Not so much as a text or call to say he wouldnt be doing the job after all. Which was disappointing as, even though it was a small 2 day job, we had talked to him about then fitting a kitchen for us, as well as another couple of jobs. Service: Paint indoors
