I love the Raith estate unfortunately there is ignorant people who think its fine to walk on the land owners front lawn with no respect how would they like it!! The estate is a business and the shooting season is only a few months but the hard work of keeper/staff is all year round they rear pheasets thats why they don't want it disturbed as the pheasants are at risk of being starteld. If people stuck to paths there wouldn't be a problem but ignorant people don't care about the wildlife they are disturbing. Thanks to the Gamekeeper and staff for trying to keep Raith a great estate Cheers

Respect the Lairds privacy and stick to the posted routes and you can enjoy the wildlife, Remember this is a shooting estate as well, Stick to the country side code keep dogs under control (which means on a lead) don't disturb game, Be sensible and enjoy the walk, Don't go near the Big house, how would you like someone walking on your front lawn,

Again, gamekeeper with attitude. Stay off my lawn.....haha Dont try and walk around, you will be escorted off..... or you might be shot! Threatening behaviour. We are worried something might happen, clients are out shooting pheasant all year round. Really, is there not a shooting season for pheasant? (I walked around in April, is that not when they are breeding?)

While the Outdoor Access Code means that law-abiding citizens should be free to take in the beautiful scenery and enjoy a peaceful woodland walk, sadly, it appears that you are not welcome on this estate. Perhaps there should be a sign up saying "Danger. Expect to be passively-aggressively harassed by the Gamekeeper With Attitiude"
