I commissioned a painting based on a photo I had taken of Edinburgh Castle in December 2017. I contacted Dan via message and email and agreed broadly the colours etc, but basically left it to him to reimagine . Dan kept me updated with photos and information on progress and the finished piece was duly delivered before Xmas. It is stunning and had I any artistic skills , exactly what I would have produced. Anyone reading this who is thinking of commissioning a piece I would urge you to do so. The cost is very reasonable and the care and effort which goes in to the work is incredible . You will not regret owning your very own piece of commissioned art.

Daniel's work is always a joy to see. The love of his subject, the landscapes of his home, shines through the paintings. I follow Dan's work on social media, and fell in love with one piece. I have never owned art, but I am proud to say, I am an owner of a Fairbairn. Thank you Dan.
