Bought 2 steak pies for New Years Day. They looked lovely, however, after serving them we found that the meat was very tough. Was unpleasant, inedible and was left on everyones plates. As a host I was embarrassed and I felt my guests were also embarrassed on my behalf as we basically had carrots, broccoli and potatoes for dinner on New Years Day. Very disappointed, wont be back .

Collected a steak pie on Christmas Eve. We have had these before and enjoyed them. Was surprised the pastry was still raw as it has usually been pre cooked but was assured it would cook well with the stew. Cooked as per instructions on Christmas Day, 45 minutes at 180. Sat down to enjoy our Christmas dinner and realised the stew was incredibly tough, we almost had to crunch through the meat. Our immediate concern was it was undercooked. Needless to say, 90% of the meat went in the bin. Also, and not really an issue but I had to wait for pigs in blankets to be made up. I was surprised they hadn't already prepared a batch for customers to purchase, I was there at 0915 so it's unlikely they would have run out of pre made at that time. Cannot say how disappointed we are, especially on Christmas Day and will not return.

Bought 4 leg of lamb chops for a bbq last Sunday and am only a 5 min drive away, got home..opened them up and they were off! Absolutely stinking! Wont be back. Couldn't take them back as Dobbies was closed. Some butcher that!

Bought your Black pudding and Pork Sausage rolls in Dobbies in Livingston very disappointed still looking for the black pudding.
