        We had a wonderful 6-night stay. As other reviewers have mentioned, Lodge is comfortable, spotlessly clean and the breakfast is excellent (thank you, Martin). The stand-outs for us were Vanessa and Martins expert local knowledge of the natural environment and the many things to see and do on Skye, the drying room (we used nearly every day because we kept stepping into bogs or getting caught in rain), use of the dining room any time of day and to store and eat your own food and location in Broadford, which is a much nicer place to hang out than Portree (just our opinion).
