Can't thank Dougie enough for conducting my Dad's funeral yesterday. From meeting Dougie at our home we felt very much at ease with him, very easy to talk to and very professional. From start to finish, at such an emotional time, Dougie made us feel comfortable and listened intently about stories of my Dad and his life. From this he painted the perfect picture of Dad and this made my mum and all the family proud and heartened by the way he conducted the whole service and celebration of Dads life. Compassion, professionalism with such charisma and we couldnt have wished for anything better. We will be forever thankful to Dougie.

Douglas conducted the service for our son, Lochie, who passed away at only 19 days old after what we can only describe as an incredible fight for survival. Douglas listened to our story and made the service extremely personal to us. While the day of the funeral was dreaded by my partner and I, we felt a huge weight lifted off of our shoulders when Douglas guided us through the process and ensured that our requests were met. We cannot thank you enough for such a beautiful send off for our little boy. Thank you Douglas, we will be forever grateful.

Douglas did a fantastic job telling the story of my dad's life, with great dignity, humour and a sharp wit. He was meticulous in his preparation, arriving at our home and willing to spend as much time as necessary for us to tell him about my father, ensuring he had all the notes he needed to provide what would be a truly excellent standard of service. His delivery filled the auditorium with a character my dad would have found similar to his own, and he got the tone of the day spot on, which my dad would also have loved. A professional in every sense of the word.
