This is a very nice establishment, done in a very modern style, and I would probably have liked to eat here, but on the day we visited they did not have one of the dishes advertised on the web, so it didn't quite work out for us. Also, many of the dishes are "tapas style" and are priced at about 8 each, which seems a little steep to me. However, as we decided not to stay as the menu did not meet our expectations, they gave us our drinks on the house, which was a nice gesture, and we may visit again sometime when we fancy trying the Wagyu beef.

Stunning food! Probably the tastiest burger I've had, really flavoursome and juicy. The Wagyu beef is just on another level, definitely be heading back soon for a steak. The staff and restaurant are amazing too, it's no wonder they are doing well.

I cannot tell a lie but, for the money we were a wee bit disappointed. The restaurant surroundings are nice, the staff and service very good indeed. A little surprised they don't do cocktails on their drinks menu. Think that's the first steak restaurant we have ever visited that doesn't! However it is all about the steak and for both of us that's where it fell down. Had it not been chargrilled it would have had no flavour at all. It looked lovely. All juicy and charred ( we had sirloin, they were out of fillet and I had heard Rib Eye might not be the best choice when having Wagyu) but it really tasted of nothing. I wouldn't even say it was particularly melt in the mouth. Maybe the burgers are better, after all you generally season the ground meat making a burger. I am told they do not use any seasoning in their steaks. Everything else was very good, the sides and dessert spot on, and they very kindly gave us a small red wine each to try (we aren't wine buffs but it was nice). If it had been say, half the price I would have easily stretched to 4 stars but at not far short of 200 for two courses for two and a couple of drinks, sorry but three is the best I can do. An Aldis 35 day aged steak costing 4 is more flavoursome and I am totally serious when I say that. I kind of feel bad having to offer only three stars as I want to support local fare where ever I can but I can only tell it like it is. There you have it.
