Brechin

We went on the Brechin Railway "Eggspress" at Easter. The kids absolutely loved it, and are keen to go again. The event was really well organised, and super impressed by the volunteers who were really professional and helpful. Highly recommended.

Spent a day at the Caledonian Railway with my husband who had a Steam train driver experience, we both had a brilliant time. Thanks to Jonathan for helping me to organize this and all your time today. It was a great day and we will be back

Purchased a ticket/receipt at the station, I was supporting a person with special needs. On boarding the train we discovered we were allocated seating in the wheelchair access area which is like a holding area for baby prams and wheelchairs. I questions this and was told this was correct. I in turn was then questions on the type of paperwork I had by the person in charge Mike. I explained that this paperwork had been issued at the entrance desk,.Unfortunatly Mike had not seen anything like it before so it left a question hanging, did I print it myself??? No I didnt. There was an older gentleman who was very helpful and we were allocated an empty seat in coach D. Sorry to say but I was made to feel I had done something wrong, Im not at all happy with this treatment as my service user paid 21 to sit in a holding area.
