Quayside Brechin

Firstly very expensive! 5 pounds for a large chips which tbh isn't even large! Next taste. Very bland and a weird aftertaste. Staff not very happy and could hear alot of moaning from one individual. Bit of a shame considering they are supposed to be excellent. My advice go to Dinos fish bar. Food is far better quality and the prices and portions are way better.

Bought two jumbo fish suppers from here and waited 20-25 minutes for some sub-par food that we wouldnt even feed to the dogs. The chips tasted undercooked and the fish was so greasy that we had to keep a supply of kitchen roll near us to keep wiping our hands on. The grease from the fish at the bottom of the boxes congealed after a few minutes and the chips were lukewarm at best. This was by far the worst food we have gotten from the Brechin Quayside and one of the longest waits we have had so we will not be going back again. I would not recommend the Quayside Brechin if you are looking for a good fish supper or are wanting something to eat quickly.
