        A couple of friends and I come over to Islay from Ireland every two years in May and book this cottage when we are leaving for our return two years later! It is simply that good. We love coming back here as we always receive a tremendous welcome from the owners and the hospitality is second to none. There are three bedrooms, a couple of bathrooms, a kitchen and a nice sized living room. There is also a long back garden which overlooks Bowmore distillery and also offers a terrific view of Lochindaal. It is lovely to be able to spend an evening here watching the sun set with a dram in hand. We think that this is the best place to stay on Islay and hopefully the owners will continue to welcome us back for long into the future. We see this as our home on Islay and it would kill us to stay elsewhere. Slinte
