They certainly up price what they sell would be better to just go to specsavers

My family have used them twice over last few months as GP says to go opticians for eye infection/problem & this is local but i find they always upsell. The examination is meant to be free under NHS, but you still leave with at least a 30+ bill for extras they say you need from them....even though they give you separate NHS prescription. I asked pharmacist about eye product that was upsold to me & was told that it was not necessary for my purpose.

Mackie Opticians are absolutely great all round! Service is outstanding, great range of frames to choose from and the aftercare provided is unmatched. i would recommend to anyone, the staff are so kind and genuinely interested in helping you leave the shop happy!

Excellent eye care from highly qualified professionals Every detail explained during and after examinations.All staff are welcoming and helpful Tea,coffee,WiFi and free refills of spectacle cleaning fluid availble in waiting area . Highly Recomended !
