My dad, Tom, was cared for in a very kind and caring way here. I felt that the care staff and nursing staff in Dalhousie genuinely were found of dad and tried their best to make his day to day life happier. I will always be grateful to them.

Absolutely disgusted in the way residents were treated, I once worked here and reported so much neglect yet Jodie the manager did nothing as she was so full of herself! I am so glad this home has shut down. I wish I could give 0 start it was that bad. I've watched so many residents die ( probably from neglect). Also me and my friend who worked their go it so much hard as we were new and did not stand for the abuse given to staff and residents. It has saddened me to this day of the horrible things I have witnessed/ also reported. I hope Jodie Clark never gets to work in care again !!!

This place should be closed down, staff and management should be locked up at the way residents have been treated. Nursing homes like this should be named and shamed, also staff that neglected patients and others that were aware of how people have been treated should be ashamed for not speaking up. If I worked anywhere that treated people in the way this home has Id be the first to speak up and no manager would stand in my way. Midlothian council should also be ashamed as they have been aware of the patient neglect for years and done nothing about it. Time the people in the council loose their job too. Shameful and appalling, being payed for a job that they cant do,
