        I telephoned ahead to check the medications I had been prescribed were available and the reception was quick, warm and efficient. On arrival the chemist was well staffed, helpful and friendly. I travelled from Dalkeith as the dispensing chemists in the town seem to be in a state of disarray. None of the above are their norm at this time! It is the best short drive I could have made. Thank you for making me feel better when I felt most miserable and vulnerable.

        The level of service at this pharmacy is diabolical, I have been lied too, laughed at over the phone and after waiting over five weeks for a prescription I have to go without. A formal complaint will be made to Cohen's. At first I was told it was a stock issue, then it was a staffing issue within the pharmacy meaning the prescription couldn't be made up and then finally it was all blamed on agency delivery drivers. When I asked what I should do without my vital medication the pharmacist just laughed on the phone. During a further phone call in desperation I was told the delivery service is a free service provided by Cohens and therefore they have no obligations whatsoever to deliver the prescription, the pharmacy is accessible to everyone and if you can't collect to ask someone to collect for you!

        Shockingly inept. My father had to go multiple times to pick up his prescription as they "forgot" to order it. No apology. One member of staff particularly rude, aggressive. They enjoy making you wait and chatting amongst themselves instead. Boxes and medication everywhere. An accident waiting to happen. Someone needs to step in here.

        Gave my father the totally wrong medication, should have got amlodipine for blood pressure, got allopurinol for gout!!! He had taken medication for 5 days before noticed, needless to say his blood pressure still high and feels rubbish!!!
